DISPLAY SPECIFICATIONS
 

Screen Size will be 11.1 inch for the 4000 T and have
10 finger capacitive touch. 800X600 high resolution
70 degree viewing angle. The display connects  to the Micro Computer board using a HDMI CABLE from the RPI 3B and a USB cable for touch screen operation. Power for the Display is obtained from a 12 VDC voltage regulator located on the Battery Board.
The Display contains its own Audio amplifiers and Speakers for full HDMI Sound.

1        Maximum bandwidth of analog channels captured using equivalent time sampling   or used with the multi-band spectrum analyzer with waveform amplitude captured to  10% full-scale.
2 Maximum number of channels that can be captured simultaneously (8).
3 Analog input ranges scale the signal seen by the A/D convertor and extend the range of voltages that can be acquired at the full resolution of convertor.
4 Maximum sensitivity refers to the smallest measurable waveform voltages in the most sensitive range with enhanced data mode enabled at frequencies below 1 MHz. Using the spectrum analyzer signal levels below these limits can be measured.
5 Software switchable HF anti-alias filters for the analog inputs. Useful for high fidelity lower bandwidth waveform capture.
6 Probe attenuation allows the inputs of the analog channels to be rescaled when attenuating probes are used.
7 DC coupled inputs with manual offset and/or automatic offset control to compensate for input voltage bias similarly to AC coupling but with the advantage of algorithmic control.
8 Switching levels on indicated logic channels can be adjusted to allow the capture of arbitrary logic families.
9 Native resolution is the maximum resolution of the A/D converters used. Pocket Analyzer has both 8 and 12 bit converters, the latter used for low bandwidth high resolution (macro) capture.
10 Effective resolution is the maximum possible resolution of captured waveforms using DSP based filtered decimation applied to the highest resolution native capture data at sample rates below 200ksps
11 BitScope oversamples as much as possible when capturing waveforms. This allows the timebase to be "zoomed in" on waveform features after capture to see them in fine detail.
12 Timebase range includes the time scales available across all capture modes excluding timebase zoom.

100HZ INCREMENTS. (WAVEFORM FREQUENCY HAS TOTAL ADJUSTMENT CAPABILITIES OF 1HZ TO 250KHZ BUILT IN). THE ADJUSTMENTS ARE PROVIDED BY ON SCREEN SOFTWARE SLIDER WHICH IS CAPABLE OF RAPID FREQUENCY SELECTION OR SINGLE 100 HZ INCREMENTS

SELECTABLE  PROBE DRIVE VOLTAGE.  LOW PD VOLTAGE OPERATION IS THE DEFAULT AT 10 VOLTS. MID PD VOLTAGE  IS 15 VOLTS. HIGH PD VOLTAGE  IS 20 VOLTS AND CAN BE CALIBRATED TO LOWER OR HIGHER VOLTAGE OUTPUTS.

BURST WAVEFORMS ARE SELECTABLE BETWEEN SINEWAVE, SQUAREWAVE AND TRIANGLE.

BOTH PULSE WIDTH AND PULSE RATE ARE ADJUSTABLE.

HAS ADJUSTABLE VERTICAL, HORIZONTAL, SWEEP AND AMPLITUDE CONTROLS OF THE PLOTTED SIGNAL RETURN.

EXPANDABLE WAVEFORM FEATURES FOR PHASE SHIFT ANALYSIS ON PLOTTED FLAW RETURNS.

FOUR RECEIVER MODE SELECTIONS: REC A- RAW SIGNAL, REC B-HARDWARE GENERATED IMPULSE MODE, REC C- POSITIVE LEVEL DETECTION MODE AND REC D- DELAYED RETURN MODE FOR USE IN PURE ULTRASONIC PROBE SCANNING.

ADJUSTABLE HOLDOFF DELAY FEATURE WHICH ADJUSTS THE RETURN OUTSIDE OF THE TRAILING EDGE OF THE BURST IP AND IS INCORPORATED IN REC D MODE

SELECTABLE LEVEL DETECT FEATURE WHICH ALLOWS ONLY THE SELECTED PORTION OF THE RETURN SIGNAL TO BE DISPLAYED (ADJUSTED BY THE LEVEL CONTROL). THIS FEATURE ELIMINATES BASELINE AND SCRUBBING NOISE TO BE PASSED TO THE PLOTTED SIGNAL. THIS FEATURE PRESENTS THE PLOTTED RETURN TO BE SEEN AS A CONSTANT AMPLITUDE SIGNAL THAT APPEARS WHEN THE PROBE PASSES OVER A FLAW. THE SIZE OF THE FLAW DETERMINES THE WIDTH OF THE VIEWABLE RETURN WAVEFORM. THIS FEATURE IS AVAILABLE IN THE REC C MODE.

THE NEW ALLWAVE INNOVATIONS LOW VOLTAGE ULTRA-SENSITIVE PROBE. THE PROBE IS ADAPTABLE BETWEEN THE PRESENT TRI-POD CONFIGURATION OR HAVE 4 FEET BEHIND THE 2 TRI-TIP SENSORS AS SHOWN BELOW IN AN EARLIER VERSION.

FIRST ITERATION OF THE PATENT PENDING AWI PROBES.

INSTRUMENTS ARE HOUSED IN AIRTIGHT AND WATER PROOF CASE. THEY ARE CRUSH RESISTANT AND HAVE PRESSURE RELIEF VALVES WHEN TRANSPORTING ON AIRCRAFT. THE COMPRO 4000T CONTAINS AN ONBOARD WIRELESS KEYBOARD AND  MOUSE WITH PROBE , CABLE AND CHARGER HOUSED INSIDE THE CASE.

THE COMPRO FLAW DETECTORS WILL BE THE FIRST FLAW DETECTION INSTRUMENTS THAT UTILIZE RESONANT LOW VOLTAGE OPERATION TO DRIVE THE COMPOSITE PROBE ELEMENTS. THIS IS MADE POSSIBLE WITH ALL ELEMENTS OF THE CIRCUITRY, CABEL AND PROBE IN RESONANT HARMONY WITH EACH OTHER. 10 VOLT OPERATION IS ALL THAT IS REQUIRED FOR EXCELLENT DETECTION RESULTS. HIGHER VOLTAGE MODES ARE USED FOR SINGLE AND DUAL ELEMENT ULTRASONIC PROBES USED WITH OTHER METHODS OF NDT INSPECTION. THE INSTRUMENTS WILL BE CAPABLE OF FULL WIRELESS INTERNET CONNECTION AND BLUETOOTH. THIS ALLOWS FULL SOFTWARE UPDATES, DATA UPLOADING AND DOWNLOADING THROUGH THE INTERNET CONNECTION RIGHT FROM THE INSTRUMENT. WITH FULL TOUCH SCREEN CAPABILITIES THE UNIT WILL INCORPORATE A FULL SCREEN KEYBOARD FOR ENTERING DATA AND SENDING MESSAGES. THE UNIT IS A FULL 64 BIT ARM COMPUTER WITH 1 GIG ONBOARED STORAGE AND USB CONNECTIONS FOR LARGE PORTABLE STORAGE MEDIA. AN EXTERNAL HDMI PORT WILL ALLOW INSTRUMENT PRESENTATIONS ON A LARGE SCREEN AND WILL BE INCORPORATED IN FUTURE MODELS.

THE FIRST RELEASE OF THE NEW TOUCH SCREEN GUI  SOFTWARE IS PRESENTLY UNDERGOING DEVELOPEMENT AND TESTING. MOST OF THE PROGRAM IS COMPLETE WITH ONLY THE PLOTTING FEATURES TO BE COMPLETED AND FULLY TESTED.
